The Tail Gunner

A cat sleeps, its tiny ears rustling above its proportionally vast head and eyes. TokyoPlastic's forays into the oneiric landscapes of its crepuscular cutie continue with a trip into classic war movies. Or, indeed, starts, as this is the first of TokyoPlastic's "microEPICs".
With the crackle of newsreel, a stirring martial fanfare, and an Avro Lancaster crewed by at least one kitten. A wise choice - apparently the rear turret was unheated, so a healthy covering of fur can only be an advantage. Less so, however, are paws used to batting tartan mice full of catnip back and forth, as the almost satanic glee with which those four .303 M1919 Brownings are unleashed has to be seen to be feared.
Entertaining, well modeled, it's in some ways a shame that "Kitteh Kitteh" is fated to visit genre after genre. In truth there's plenty stops along the way, venturing into monster movies in Catzilla and action films (or at least car chases) with Fatal Danger, and we can hope that there will be other outings. Brief enough (at under a minute) to watch on a phone perhaps, TokyoPlastic's film does feel a little bit like a campaign in search of a product. That said, it's still entertaining, and brief enough to email to your friends.
