Ken Loach’s damning examination of the British benefits system I, Daniel Blake, has four nominations, including best film and Paul Laverty, for screenplay.

Both Pedro Almodóvar’s Julieta and Paul Verhoeven’s Elle scored three nominations each, including best film, with that top prize category rounded out by Lenny Abraham’s Room.
