Ketel One vodka has partnered with Future Shorts to present The Spirit of Film - a celebration of the skills and craftsmanship of short film-making, in selected venues around the UK.
Following a successful flagship event in London, the next of these events is at Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre (www.traverse.co.uk on Thursday, February 18. Starting at 6.00pm, the evening kicks off with an hour of pioneering short film. There's an intermission when you're invited to quench your thirst for knowledge with a Ketel One vodka masterclass.
The screening line up includes headline flick The Black Hole (winner of the prestigious Virgin Media Short Film competition 2008) written and directed by Phil Sampson and Olly Williams, The Bloody Olive (directed by Vincent Ball) and Lounge Bar (directed by Harry Sinclair and Don McGlashan).
This is followed by an exclusive Q&A session with the directors. The evening concludes with tuition from top class bar tenders on how to create the ultimate Ketel One vodka martini.
The Spirit of Film will move to Liverpool at FACT on April 29, before its final showing in London at Riverside Studios on May 6.
Tickets for the Edinburgh event cost £7.50.
