Star Wars fans out in Force

London to host 30th anniversary celebration of the films this July.

Kicking off on Friday July 13 Star Wars Celebration Europe is a massive three-day spectacular for all the family to enjoy at ExCeL London, commemorating 30 years of the most successful film series in history – and offering a glimpse of what’s coming up in Star Wars entertainment.

Jam packed with Star Wars events Celebration Europe will feature a Jedi Padawan training set, a Darth Vader hot air balloon, live entertainment and an outdoor screening of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope.

The Celebration begins at 9am on July 13 when a procession of Stormtroopers will unite outside the ExCeL exhibition hall at London’s Docklands. Terrific photo opportunities abound as fans embark on the ultimate Star Wars experience.

Highlights of the three-day celebration include previews The Force Unleashed video game, a glimpse behind the scenes of the making of the upcoming CG Animated TV show The Clone Wars and a Jedi training wall where young, would-be Jedi can attempt a challenging climb to the top with some help from master Yoda.

Tickets to Star Wars Celebration Europe needn't break the bank, either, with kids under eight getting in for free when accompanied by a paying adult. They are available in advance via seetickets.com or at the ExCeL Centre.
