Max Blinkhorn

I'm 51 and work as a therapeutic gardener in the NHS. I've always loved film and drama ever since my Dad took me to see Zulu when I was nine. We would always try to guess the plot of a film or TV drama and were regularly shushed for getting it right. After attending a playwriting course at the Traverse theatre, I was bitten by "the story bug" and began reviewing for EdinburghGuide.com in 2002 and IOFilm in 2004. Favourite film - Women in Love - real, intense and Ken Russell somehow creates a fabulous synergy between the principle actors in their characters. The result is a fast moving and powerful....... Blimey I'm off again!
