Despite a record-breaking number of nominations, Greta Gerwig's Barbie lost out at the Critics Choice awards last night, winning just six, while its big rival Oppenheimer landed eight. That left some room for other contenders, with The Holdovers continuing to make a strong showing, taking three acting awards, and Emma Stone won Best Actress for the season's other big hitter Poor Things.

"I was Kenning my hardest," said Ryan Gosling of his stunned expression when I'm Just Ken won best song, in one of the most talked-about moments of the night.
