Shia LaBeouf retires from public life

"Attacks against artistic integrity" too much for Transformers star.

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is to retire from public life, he announced today. The reason given is that attacks againt his artistic integrity have become too much, an apparent reference to his plagiarism of the work of comic book writer Daniel Clowes in short film Howard Cantour.com, in response to which the 27 year old actor submitted an apology which was also found to have been plagiarised. The situation was not helped by his subsequent plagiarism of the work of rapper Gucci Mane in a tweet.

"My love goes out to those who have supported me," said LaBeouf, who will also be remembered for his role in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. He made no further comment on what his retirement will involve. He has a supporting role in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac, which is due to be released next month.
