Woanders is a German word. I think it means Elsewhere.

The film is an animated gem, so simple you are reminded of what better writers used to say about never using an adjective when a noun will do. This is a noun movie.

Once upon a time there was a man who loved his house so much that when he went for a walk, it came too. And the house changed size to make it easier for the man to love it, like a dog, a small dog walking beside the man, the shape of a house.

The drawings are black-and-white, like something a clever child might do. There is no colour at all until the wind gets up and a leaf blows past and the leaf has the pale golden look of autumn.

The story is surreal - not Salvador, but sweet surreal.
