Piglet's Big Movie
Reviewed by: Angus Wolfe Murray
Piglet is no relation to A A Milne. He's a Walt Disney person, pretending to be an animal. And he's animated, which makes him even less real.
He has a problem, nothing Donald Duck would understand, mind you. He doesn't like being small and imagines that his friends don't need him, because they can't see him. Hey, is there a shrink in 100 Acre Wood?
Well, there's owl. Will he do?
Once upon a time, there were four friends and Piglet and Kanga and Roo and Christopher Robin. The four friends are all the same size, despite one being a rabbit and another a tiger. Pooh thinks up schemes to steal honey from the bees. Eeore, the donkey, believes everything will end in disaster. Tigger bounces about like Jack out of his box and Rabbit worries too much.
They lose Piglet. Or rather, Piglet wanders off, feeling sorry for himself. That's Piglet's Big Movie, except Piglet's not in it, because he's lost. Funny, really. The little guy missing his own movie.
If you are four, you will enjoy this. If you are five, you might think Piglet not worth finding. If you are six, you'll want more action.
It's nice. That's what it is. And nice is nice. Better than nasty. If you are four.
