If you are allergic to music videos, stop reading now. I am allergic to music videos. What am I doing here?
Blank. Interesting word. I could play with that.
Young girl, puppy fatty sweet smiley nice looking girl with big white scarf sits on park bench and sings. A skinny sinister young man stalks her. He's like those guys in clubs who lean against the bar, looking blank (that word again) and never speaking. In some people's minds, that is what cool is. It doesn't do it for me.
The song is quite good, without being memorable. The collage sequences in the street are clever, without turning your brain into Dali's breakfast. The movie, or whatever it is called, is well made in the sense that director Kerry Mullaney has used imagination, without being pretentiously obscure.
I am still allergic to music videos.
