Paris: Bon Voyage

The key to the success of this very short short is its strong use of images and a hearty script.
We follow one woman's work in a Eurostar terminal, from turnstile to toilet cleaning, with director Kapwani Kiwanga inviting us to re-evaluate our perception of the many "faceless" workers we meet every day.
"Life in Europe is hard," she says. "You must lose everything except your courage." Sage words, neatly framed by the action, proving it is possible to say something important even in three minutes.
