The annual Screen Awards, which celebrate film marketers, distributors and exhibitors in the UK, were revealed at a ceremony in London last night. The big studio winner was Universal Pictures, which took home the prizes for Studio Distributor of the Year, Event Cinema Campaign of the Year (for Billy Elliot: The Musical Live) and Theatrical Campaign of the Year (for Jurassic World). Twentieth Century Fox won 3D Campaign of the Year for Home, and several companies received awards for their promotional work for Asif Kapadia documentary Amy.

The Odeon Dorchester won Best Cinema (24 screens or more) and there were celebrations at the GFT in Glasgow after it took Best Cinema (24 screens or under). "We are thrilled to be crowned Cinema of the Year," said GFT CEO Jaki McDougall. "Over the past few years, GFT has gone from strength to strength; with our third cinema screen opening in 2013, and with Glasgow Film Festival’s steady growth over the past 11 years to become the third largest film festival in the UK, we are continually seeking new ways to build upon our achievements."

Icon Film Distribution and Fetch Publicity won Online Campaign of the Year for their work on It Follows. Organic Publicity won PR Team of the Year and Signature Entertainment took home the Home Entertainment Campaign of the Year prize for Predestination.
