Oscar nominations announced

American Hustle and Gravity are ahead with ten nominations each.

The Oscar nominations for 2014 were announced today, and American Hustle ties with Gravity in pole position on ten nominations, while 12 Years A Slave has nine. Coming up strong on the outside is Nebraska, which has to be a long shot to take the top awards but has managed six nominations, not bad at all for a film made on just $13m.
