Sundance Film Festival 2006

Featuring 16 films from US independent filmmakers, vying for the Grand Jury Prize. This year it was won by Quinceanera - later released in the UK under the name Echo Park, L.A. - which also picked up the Audience Award. The Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award went to Hilary Brougher for Stephanie Daley. The Excellence In Cinematography Award went to Tom Richmond for Right At Your Door, while the Dramatic Directing Award went to Dito Montiel for A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints.
