Eye For Film >> Movies >> The Banquet (2006) DVD Review
The colours on the DVD are rich and beautiful and the contrast between light and shadow is strong. The sound, too, is wonderful.
The extras on this movie include a making of documentary, which, like many of its kind, proves to be more self-congratulatory than illuminating. However, the one very interesting piece of information gleaned from this documentary is that the set director intended to swamp the actors with his sets. He succeeds. The obligatory trailer is also included.
