Teenage Hooker Became A Killing Machine

Read Andrew Robertson's film review of Teenage Hooker Became A Killing MachineAs seems common with other third window DVD releases, menus fade from one language to another, and selections are highlighted with an offset block of colour. It's usually relatively intuitive, but from time to time it's unclear.
The DVD also features the 30 minute short Kangchul, about a man who similarly became a killing machine, though his target is a dragon that oppresses a village. In a looping piece direct to camera as he lies dying, he tells his story, and that of his village to a young warrior. It's certainly more interesting than Teenage Hooker, but suffers from similarity. After enduring its companion on the DVD one suspects audiences would be less willing to forgive yet more slow pacing and almost wilful obscurantism, even if it is more inventive and, frankly, better.
