The picture and, in particular, the sound quality is fantastic.

However, the extras are not nearly as impressive. The trailers for the other two films in the series, Ring and Ring 2, are about as compulsory these days as that of the actual movie, although the additional trailers for Audition, Nowhere To Hide and Battle Royale are quite interesting.

Stills Gallery comprised about four photos - hardly a gallery.

Film Notes are actually quite comprehensive and, for an uninitiated viewer, could prove helpful in understanding the storyline.

Overall, the extras count for nothing against the ear-piercingly clear soundtrack.
