Read Paz Newis's film review of Max And Paddy's Road To NowhereThis DVD is well presented. The menus are clear and easy to navigate, the graphic being, appropriately, motorway signs.
With over an hour of outtakes, trailers and deleted scenes, the special features are excellent value. There is also a photo gallery of production and character stills, while different versions of the theme tune play along with the different menus.
The deleted scenes are as good as the material in the broadcasts. It must be tough making the call as to what gets left in and what has to wait for the DVD, although, at least, it's been saved from the bin.
The blooper reel is very funny and has a no swearing option for showing your maiden aunt, but I don't think she'd enjoy it, anyway.
I am not allowed to talk about the "surprise" commentary, because it's supposed to be a surprise.
