Mapp And Lucia: The Complete Series

The film looks sumptuous and the colours are excellent. Occasionally the sound falters, but not to any irritatating degree. Considering the age of the two series - both included in this box set - it is remarkably well preserved.

The bonus extras never made it onto DVD, which is no great sadness, because Mapp and Lucia say it all. Who wants a Behind The Scenes when what goes on in front is so enjoyable?
