Eye For Film >> Movies >> Le Souffle (2001) DVD Review
The DVD package is appropriately basic, with no real extras to speak of, unless you count a bunch of trailers and a scene selection facility.
The technical quality is good, making the most of the film's effective sparse soundtrack. The print is crisp, vividly capturing the range of tones and losing nothing in comparison with the theatrical version.
Lovers of this kind of meandering world cinema will no doubt welcome this addition to the catalogue. I, for one, won't be recommending it.
