Eye For Film >> Movies >> Killers (2010) DVD Review
Killers comes with a less than deadly set of extras. Killer Chemistry is the lightest of weight pieces possible, seeing the cast discussing their roles in the time-honoured loved-up Hollywood fashion. There are one or two interesting anecdotes, such as the fact that Ashton Kutcher accidentally kicked Rob Riggle in the face for real when they were fighting, but it's thin stuff and slight at just 10 minutes.
The rest of the extras are extended, deleted and alternate scenes. One or two flesh out the back story more but none are unmissable. The alternative ending is probably the best of the bunch, but raises more questions than it would answer. Rounding out the package is very brief gag reel, which is sadly no more amusing than the scripted jokes and the inevitable set of 'coming soon' trailers.
This is not the best packaged DVD I've seen, although the film itself is fine, the menus are on the cheap-looking side. Points to Lionsgate for including a subtitle track on the film but it's a shame they couldn't extend to subtitling the extras.
