Killer Mermaids

This attractively shot film has transferred well to DVD and its unusual theme makes it an interesting one to add to your collection, but there are no extras here (apart from the 'S' at the end of the titles, which doesn't appear on the US version). One interesting point to note about the cover design is that in Europe Mermaids are sold with old fashioned fantasy art, mythology and skulls; in the US they sneak up behind women in flimsy bikinis. Although there are some skimpy bikinis in the film, it seems that European viewers, overall, are likely to come away from it feeling more satisfied.
