Kidnapped

A nice all round package which complements the joyous cinematography of the picture. Although the image and sound quality is understandably not as clear and crisp as a THX HD blockbuster, the camerawork really brings the eye-catching countryside to life and forms a worthy backdrop to Mann’s superb picture.

The bundle of extras includes some very entertaining interviews with Michael Caine which were broadcast on the Russell Harty Show and Sunday Sunday. Also included are the original theatrical trailer and an on set featurette with a generous cluster of interviews with both cast and crew. The DVD also includes an image gallery which rounds the package off neatly.
