Eye For Film >> Movies >> Joey - Series 1 (2004) DVD Review
The reason you buy television shows on DVD is generally because you like the show and want to be able to watch it whenever you want. The same can be said when you buy a film, but when you buy a series you get a much wider selection of stories, in Joey's case 22 of them.
There's not much else here, but do you really want to watch an interview of Matt LeBlanc discussing how he gets motivation for his character, or the the director explaining his technique?
This is a sitcom, and you watch it because it entertains you. The show is very funny, slightly addictive, and a nice way to be 'on a break' from the rest of the Friends' posse. What you see is what you get, though there is a selection of languages to watch it in.
If extras are your thing, than this might not be the box set for you.
