The picture quality is as good as you'd expect for a modern film. The sound quality is fine, but the surround mix should have been used to greater effect. Subtitling is all present and correct throughout, including on the extras.

The deleted scenes, as always, are an interesting addition. Unfortunately, the outtakes are very slight - there's a little bit of goofing around, but nothing to really make you laugh.

Although there appear to be lots of other extras, they're all a fairly standard featurette split up into three to five minute chunks. With most of them you know what you're getting, but a couple are worth singling out.

The section on creating the wigs and beards is fascinating, and leads to a greater appreciation of the fantastic make-up work in the film. Equally intriguing is the section discussing how the director practised what he preached, by recycling the sets and buying bikes for hundreds of crew members, so as to minimise the environmental impact of the film. Some of the shine is taken off this, however, when later sections become environmental messages as sponsored by General Electric and BP.
