Drop The Dead Donkey: The Complete 4th Series

Read Harry Lockhart's film review of Drop The Dead Donkey: The Complete 4th SeriesI cannot begin to explain how disappointed I am with the lack of extras on one of the popular television shows ever to come out of Britain.
I think the fans of the show (and this impartial reviewer) deserve better. Where is the amusing audio commentary on selected episodes with selected members of the cast, where they tell us amusing anecdotes? The opportunity to go into greater detail with a making of documentary with the writers of the show telling us the news headlines of the time that influenced their stories has also been missed.
Everything about this DVD is basic from the extras (or lack of) to the menu screen. This is not headline news I'm afraid.
Episodes included: The Undiscovered Country, Quality Time, The Day of The Mum, Births and Deaths, Helen's Parents, Sally in T.V. Times, Crime Time, No More Mr. Nice Guy, Henry's Autobiography, The Strike, The Wedding, Damien and the Weather Girl.
