Eye For Film >> Movies >> Choses Secrètes (2002) DVD Review
The 1.85:1 picture is fine. That's really all I can say. The film has a drab colour pallet that comes out well on the disc, though I did notice some ghosting effects a couple of times. Hardly a demo quality disc, but it serves the subject matter well.
Sound comes in either DD, or DTS 5.1. Neither is up to much, the film being dialogue driven and biased toward the front speakers. The sound design is really simple and, while a DTS track is welcome, it's hardly a necessity.
Film notes by some guy called Tony McKibbin (who?) and a trailer reel for other Tartan Video releases are included.
