Carve Her Name with Pride

Read Ben Sillis's film review of Carve Her Name with PrideOh dear. Audio commentaries are a mixed bag at best, but the one included is abysmal. Virginia McKenna and the film’s editor (Probably the only two surviving cast and crew members) give the occasional comment that you’d expect your grandmother to make, about cups of tea and what a nice man so and so was. But of course, 40 years after you’ve made a film, you’re not going to remember much else.
Stills and a trailer round off a poor selection.
