Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss

Read Angus Wolfe Murray's film review of Billy's Hollywood Screen KissBilly's Hollywood Screen Kiss isn't served well on DVD. The feature is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen. The print has next to no film artifacts like dust, dirt or hair in the gate, but the video quality is not up to snuff. It's seriously lacking in detail, has considerable artifacting - as though the image was resized. Also, it's artificially sharpened, casting large edge halos across contrasting objects. It's a bit of a mess, really.
The audio is a servicable Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo surround mix, which is surprisingly decent. The centre channel gets a good workout, and the showpiece music arrangements are well integrated. No deep bass is present, nor is it needed.
As for extras, there's just a 4:3 letterboxed trailer for the movie.
