The Zone Of Interest tops London Critics Circle awards

Barbie and Oppenheimer go home empty-handed

There were two big winners at the London Film Critics Circle awards last night, and they were not the usual ones. While season successes Poor Things and The Holdovers both got a mention, Barbie and Oppenheimer were left out in the cold. The Zone Of Interest won Best Film, Best Director and the Technical Achievement Award, while All Of Us Strangers won two and a quarter, star Paul Mescal being hailed as British/Irish performer of the year for his work in four different films.
