Due to the European elections being held on Sunday 25 May, the Festival de Cannes management team has decided to reveal the winners of the 67th Festival a day earlier than usual, on Saturday 24 May, at the traditional awards ceremony in the Grand Théâtre Lumière.

That means the final film in competition will be shown on Friday 23 May and the jury, headed by Jane Campion, will meet the next day to select the winners, it was announced today.

The winners of Un Certain Regard award will be announced during the evening of Friday 23 May and the Cinéfondation awards will be held the same afternoon, as usual.

All films in Official Selection will be screened again over the weekend of 24 and 25 May in the Palais cinemas.

The Festival will close on Sunday 25 May with a screening of the Palme d’Or winner.
